Today I started the process of moving out of my studio. The stood has been good to me. Over the past year it has been the spot. It has been a playground and it has has sharpened my senses for a bit of the old ultrafunky. It was also the birthplace of SprinkleJuice….but thats a whole ´nother blogpost.
Out with the old in with the new. It might be a renaissance.
The week got rounded up nicely and I managed to record one last track before the imminent shut down. Shout out to my man Charles P. Bailey….Philly crew!!

As everybody knows by now a legend in the game passed away yesterday. My fondest memories of Guru are no doubt from the early Gang Starr days, especially from their 3rd album Daily Operation….RIP Guru the King of monotone…
Just woke up to some glorious sunshine in Baltimore and this was the first thing I heard. grooveman Spot baby!! Way to set the mood for a day that will most likely include baltimore club, pit beef and basketball…go Bulls!!
I´m about to jump in my friend Dimitris car and roll down to Baltimore. Long time no see. I spent my senior year of high in murrland so I´m looking forward to revisiting some old stomping grounds. Can´t believe it´s been 5 years since I was there last.
It made me go digging in my archives only to stumble on this track that´s been sitting on my laptop for over 3 years. No doubt inspiration for this came from old B-More….

Another sun is setting over manhattan. My view is dope but my bank account is empty. This city´s ability to make you feel like a king one day, and the next, throw you down on the ground and piss down your throat, is becoming more evident every day. Today, though, was a fine day in the life of another non-native Brooklynite (does anybody really come from here!!!??). As my hustle strengthens I´ve set up some meetings for tomorrow (whatever that means). Please let me get a gig in this bitch!! I miss playing and I´m tired of rural Sweden……so PLEASE let me get a gig in this bitch!! Here´s a little something I got from South African rapper Tumi…..he added a verse to Cynikaliosis (the first track on my latest album in case you haven´t check it out). Good lookin´kid!!
